However, he wanted the message to the Spanish/Hispanic/Latino community who have direct ties to the native Incas, Mayans, Aztecs, Taino, Arawaks, and obviously, to Africa. The tribulations that Hispanic/Latino ancestors faced are still faced around the world due to various geo-political, globalization and trade agreement deals worked out without the consent of the people that they affect. Thus, in Central Park, New York, Curry brought members of a band he was briefly managing (Latin Magic) together to record this simple but effective message. « menos
