Dr. Chynn was one of the 1st refractive surgeons in NYC to perform LASEK, as well as one of the first in the New York-TriState area to combine LASEK with CustomVue, for SuperVision. Here's how LASEK works: A flap of epithelial tissue is created with a special solution by Dr. Chynn, who then gently moves it out of the central optical zone with a sterile Weck-Cell cellulose sponge.
